A Tree of Trauma & It’s Abundant Fruit

I’m ten. My stepdad, Bill, was fired from Adam’s High School as a music teacher. The band director and other teachers built a conspiracy around him. Several teenage girls accused Bill of touching them inappropriately. Bill stood too close, rubbed their shoulders and backs, and other insignificant things.

Rant to America

There’s a lot of political talk going on. Trump is president, again. Am I happy about it? No. I’m more upset about it this time than I was eight years ago. I’m not a political expert, and I would prefer not to be. It’s always easier to stay

Burden in a Miracle

Two days before my first birthday, in the middle of the night, I succumbed to cardiac arrest. My mom, an extremely well-trained lifeguard and swim coach, went into lifeguard-mode and performed CPR on me until the ambulance arrived, and took me to the hospital. The local hospital was ill-equipped

Fairytale Mental Penitentiary       I initially wrote this for one of my creative writing classes. The assignment was to take a fairytale and add a new element. Coming up with an idea that didn’t feel like it’s been done before was a struggle. Red Riding Hood was already

The Fairytale Mental Penitentiary

“I’m not a stalker. Philip and I were in love! I saved him a from drowning, and I just knew we’d be together forever. He just had to hear me sing.” A girl with fading teal and lavender hair and doll-like amethyst eyes said, fluttering her eyelashes. I want to make this my first reminder. Taking care of me is the best way to remember her.

About me...

Hi! Michelle Tabisz here! I’m a writer who loves fiction, creative non-fiction, and pink! As you can tell, my website is a little sparse right now. I’m working on curating content for you, so please be patient while I pull some things together. Lucky for us, you won’t need to guess when my next post is coming. My Upcoming Posts will tell you what’s on the horizon. Please leave a comment or send me an email via the contact me form, I would love to hear from you.

I dedicate my first post, Letter from My Kidney, to my beloved grandma. Not only was she my best friend, she donated her kidney to me when I was very young. If you want to know more, I delve into the creation of that piece with my And What’s Next series. I’ll discuss my favorite scenes, inspiration, and more. It will also get you curious about my next post. Speaking of my next post, I’m now sharing with you The Fairytale Mental Penitentiary, which I am so ecstatic for everyone to read. If you want to read it right now, please click here.
